Excepting those with cream (which can be substituted for rice milk easily, since it’s just as light), most mixed drinks are vegan! Since we only moved in a month ago our liquor stocks are pitiful, but we can make our favorite drinks, and a paucity of ingredients makes invention all the more necessary.

First take a tall, thin glass — we used Pilsner glasses but you could use anything tall; a Collin’s glass would do.

  1. 1.5 shots Creme de Cacao
  2. Grenadine to taste (I use half a shot or so)
  3. Fill with chilled orange juice
  4. Add orange slices if you’re making a blog post
The effect is orange candy with a chocolate aftertaste, yum!

These have no name as of yet, since we’ve only been making them for a few weeks. What should we call them?
